We have launched a new research support program to help researchers turn their creative ideas into reality.

Promoting the domestic deployment of high-precision nanofiber electrospinning equipment.

LABOLOGY Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, Representative Director: Toshio Nakamura) has partnered with MEC Corporation, a manufacturer of nanofiber electrospinning equipment, to launch a new initiative to support those involved in research, testing, and inspection by providing sales support in Japan starting July 14, 2026.

LABOLOGY is responsible for disseminating product information, providing materials, selecting the appropriate equipment for research purposes, and offering consultations on sample preparation. Furthermore, in collaboration with Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Corporation, we will promote increased product awareness and sales within Japan.

[Background of the sales partnership]

LABOLOGY's PURPOSE is "to solve the problems of all people involved in research, testing, and inspection."

Nanofiber electrospinning equipment is expected to be used in a variety of research and development fields, including medicine, automobiles, batteries, and textiles, but it is a highly specialized device with only a limited number of manufacturers producing it both domestically and internationally.

Therefore, even researchers who need such equipment may not have sufficient opportunities to learn about its existence or how to use it, and it may not be recognized as an option for solving research problems.

LABOLOGY has entered into this sales partnership with MEC Corporation with the aim of widely disseminating MEC's advanced technological capabilities and products, so that researchers will think, "I didn't know such equipment existed," or "This might be achievable," and that we can support them in taking a step towards new research and product development.

[About Nanofiber Electrospinning Equipment]

The nanofiber electrospinning apparatus is a research and development device that uses high voltage to produce ultrafine fibers.
is.

MEC Corporation's equipment utilizes proprietary technology to create a stable electric field, resulting in high uniformity of fiber diameter.
Its distinguishing feature is its ability to produce high-quality nanofibers.

Furthermore, it is compatible with a variety of materials such as polymers and natural materials, and can be formed into nonwoven fabrics, sheets, tubes, and other materials.
We can fabricate nanofibers with diverse shapes, including membrane-forming, core-sheath, and hollow structures.

From small, standard models that are easy to use in the laboratory, to models designed for the creation of large, long samples and for mass production.
We offer a wide range of models to suit various research purposes, including high-end models that support advanced research.
Large models include long sheets, large samples, R to R method, and multi-jet method.
We also support research using various methods.

[Representative model “NANON”]

The flagship model "NANON" is a laboratory-sized machine that is easy to handle in a research lab, yet it can process nonwoven fabrics and sheets.
In addition to tubular samples, various shapes of nanofibers are available, including cylindrical, oriented, and core-sheath/hollow structures.
This is a highly versatile research and development model that can be used for bar fabrication.

System parts such as spinnerets and collectors can be rearranged according to research purposes.
Furthermore, features such as spinning condition settings, automatic cleaning, and safety measures have been considered to enhance usability in research settings.
It is being done.

[Application to a wide range of research, including in the medical field]

Nanofiber technology is being utilized in research and development in a wide range of fields, including medicine, automobiles, batteries, and textiles.
It is being done.

In particular, in the medical field, research is underway to commercialize new medical materials and treatment technologies, including regenerative medicine.
It is expected to be used for the following purposes.

The device we will be discussing is for research and development purposes and does not have specific therapeutic effects or performance as a medical device.
This does not guarantee that... LABOLOGY allows researchers to achieve research that they have not been able to achieve before.
We will embark on research and development to accelerate the pace of research and development and bring into practical use new products and new treatment technologies in the future.
I hope it will continue.

[Sales support details]

LABOLOGY accepts the following types of consultations:
Product introduction and provision of materials
- Selecting the appropriate model based on the research objectives and the nanofibers to be produced.
