- Even materials (polymers) that do not melt at low temperatures can be spun using a heat spinning spinneret.
- It's also possible to simulate mass production using the multi-jet spinneret.
- Safety features for workers include interlocks when high voltage is applied, door locks and waste filters, and rapid high-voltage discharge when the power is turned off to prevent electric shock.
